On Sunday, 13 April 2025, The Oil Slick will present the Turning Skies Showcase at Nuns Island Theatre, celebrating Cúirt’s 40th anniversary with an exciting mix of spoken word, music, and other artistic performances exploring the journey from endings to new beginnings.
On Sunday, 13 April 2025, An Taibhdhearc will host Ceiliúradh Ceoil agus Filíochta, an evening of music, song, and poetry celebrating Leabhar Mór na nAmhrán and Gearr Gonta: Céad Dán le Céad File, featuring performances by Máirtín Tom Sheáinín, Lillis Ó Laoire, Caitlín Ní Chualáin, and others.
On Saturday, 12 April 2025, Richard Scott and Oluwaseun Olayiwola will read from their poetry collections, exploring themes of trauma, intimacy, and identity, at The Mick Lally Theatre.
The Cúirt Open Mic takes place on 10th April at 8pm in Nuns Island Theatre — a welcoming evening of spoken word and poetry, presented in association with The Oil Slick.
Capturing Cúirt: 40 Years of Stories invites audiences to share and hear powerful, poetic, and mischievous tales from the festival’s history, in collaboration with Moth and Butterfly.
